Some memories come back as a feeling before you can put them into words. That’s the place I’m trying to find with Somewhere Still.

It’s my instrumental project, built around warm piano, atmospheric textures, gentle guitars, and a little bit of nostalgia. I want the music to leave enough room for you to bring your own memories into it.

Music for somewhere you’ve been before

That line says a lot about what this project means to me. A first home. Playing outside. An ordinary afternoon that didn’t seem important at the time. You can’t always go back to those places, but sometimes a sound can bring back a small part of how they felt.

Distant Memory was the first chapter. I released it on September 18, 2026. If you’re new to Somewhere Still, that’s a good place to start.

Distant Memory

Next up: Morning Breakfast (Nostalgia)

The next track is inspired by those childhood Saturday mornings: breakfast, cereal, the TV on, and a whole day ahead of you. Morning Breakfast (Nostalgia) is scheduled for October 30, 2026, with a version that includes nostalgic sound effects and an instrumental version.

I’ll share more of that world here, along with the ideas and memories behind the music. I’d love to hear what comes back to you when you listen.
